Hull KR coach Justin Morgan has paid tribute to Leeds and their supporters after former Rhino Chev Walker suffered a traumatic leg break in last week's play-off match.

The 26-year-old centre suffered an horrific compound fracture in the game at Headingley following an innocuous-looking challenge from Keith Senior.

"I was really proud of the Leeds fraternity," he said. "Their medical staff and coaching team, and especially Keith Senior - the way they handled a difficult situation was a credit to them.

"Then to hear the whole crowd signing, 'There's only one Chev Walker' made you really proud to be part of rugby league.

"He is a very determined character and if there's somebody that can come back from this it's Chev Walker."
