Castleford have announced that forwards Chris Feather, Ryan Boyle and Ryan Clayton will all be leaving the club.

The trio are all out of contract at The Jungle and deemed surplus to requirements following the signings of Steve Snitch and Paul Jackson from Wakefield and Huddersfield respectively.

Prop Feather, who joined the Tigers last year from Super League rivals Bradford, is believed to heading for France.

Clayton - a second-rower - has made 76 appearances in two spells with Cas, while prop Boyle, 21, has been with his home-town team since 2005.

Despite already bringing in two new faces for 2010, coach Terry Matterson intends to further strengthen his squad for next season.

"I'd like to thank the guys for their efforts whilst with the Tigers, and also James Ford, whose departure was announced some weeks ago," he said.

"We have brought two new guys on board and I plan to promote two of the club's promising young players, Jordan Thompson and John Davies, but we are also still looking to bring a couple of additional signings on board."
