Chaz I'Anson will remain with Hull KR for the 2010 campaign after signing a new one-year deal with the club.

The 22-year-old made 14 appearances this season for the Robins, who finished the regular season in fourth place to qualify for the play-offs.

I'Anson made his debut for the club back in 2007 after moving to Craven Park from Super League rivals Leeds Rhinos.

While his preferred position is stand-off, he has quickly become a versatile member of coach Justin Morgan's squad.

"Chaz is a good guy to have in the squad because he can cover a number of positions and do a pretty good job in all of them," Morgan said on the club's website.

"He is developing as a player all the time with the more experience he gets at Super League level and he will be a real asset to us again for 2010.

"He played in half of our games in Super League XIV so the challenge is there for him to build on that and make even more of a contribution next season."
