Australian rugby league star Karmichael Hunt is set to switch codes after agreeing to join Biarritz.
The 23-year-old Brisbane Broncos full-back has signed a deal that will see him stay with the Top 14 outfit until the end of the 2010/11 season.
"He has enormous potential and a great desire to succeed," said Biarritz's Australian coach Jack Isaac to Fox Sports.
"We'll leave him the time to adapt but with such a player that should come quite quickly."
Hunt, capped 11 times by Australia, is likely to slot in at full-back, although he has also played in the centres.
