Scotland sealed a place in the European Cup final with a 22-10 win over Lebanon in Glasgow.

The home side overcame dreadful weather conditions at Old Anniesland to gain the pool one victory in a game that proved to be a busy one for referee Leon Williamson.

The New Zealand official handed out five yellow cards and Scottish forward Iain Morrison spent two spells in the sin bin.

Steve McCormack's men didn't get off to the best start when a ninth-minute try from Lebanon winger Josh Mansour gave the visitors a 4-0 lead.

The home side then edged ahead despite being down to 11 men - with John Cox and Morrison both watching from the sidelines as Brendan Lindsey touched down and Mick Nanyn converted before adding a penalty.

Jamie Nixon's converted try saw the home side go into the break with a 14-4 lead and Kevin Henderson's score secured Scotland's win.

The visitors, though, did gain some late consolation when substitute Nick Kassis scored a second try seven minutes from the end and Ndaira kicked the conversion.
