Luke Robinson has inked a contract extension to remain with Huddersfield Giants until the end of the 2012 season.

The scrum-half, 25, whose previous terms were due to run out at the end of the current campaign, has been a permanent fixture in the first team since joining the Giants from Salford City Reds three years ago.

"It has been a great experience to share the progress being made by the Giants on and off the field," he said.

"The club is very ambitious and hopefully we will be challenging for honours in the next few years and I want to be a part of it."
