Hull club captain Lee Radford could be handed a one-match ban after he was charged with punching.

Radford will appear before a Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee on Tuesday following his sending off against Leeds on Saturday.

Referee Ian Smith dismissed Radford just nine minutes into his side's 18-14 defeat to the Rhinos after clashing with Ryan Bailey.

Radford has now been charged with a grade A offence by the RFL's match review panel - and he could miss Saturday's elimination play-off against Hull KR if found guilty.

I am neutral on the radford/bailey case but when will the RFL get things right.how can you ban some players for one match and some for two for the same offence.is it who you are and what club you play for.GET IT RIGHT RFL your a joke at times

I am a Leeds fan i agree 10 mins both players in the sin bin Bailey does it every week but opposition fall for his winding up tactics he is a liability to Leeds.

Alan Webster says...

While I cannot condone what Radford did I think its an absolute disgrace that Bailey gets off scot free after elbowing Radford three times in the face and them tried to headbutt Sean Long,Then in the following match,St Helens Paul Wellens attacked a Castleford player and got away with 10 minutes in the sin bin.It seems there are different rules for some teams.

Stewart Smith says...

hope his dismissal is deemed as sufficient as for me both he and Bailey should have been sin binned and left at that. Bailey was the aggressor and radford retaliated yet Bailey got away with what was the more dangerous offence of repeatedly elbowing to the head!
