Hull have appealed against the suspension handed out to club captain Lee Radford.
The second row was banned for one-match after he was found guilty of punching Leeds prop Ryan Bailey in Saturday's final match of the regular season.
The incident was spotted by the referee, who sent Radford off - leaving Hull to play for 70 minutes with 12 men.
And Hull are arguing that the red card - the first of Radford's career - should be punishment enough.
Radford will currently miss the play-off clash against rival Hull KR on Saturday.
