Quins star reportedly heading back to West Yorkshire

Harlequins centre Paul Sykes looks poised to make a return to the Bradford Bulls.

The 26-year-old goalkicker, who made his Great Britian debut against France in June, looks set to return to the club he left six years ago.

He has proved a revelation for the Londoners since battling back from a career-threatening kidney injury last year.

Eleven tries in 21 appearances this season have helped secure Quins' top flight status for another year.

Vacancy

Bulls boss Steve McNamara sees the Londoners' top try-scorer as an ideal replacement for former Canterbury Bulldogs centre Ben Harris, who will return to Australia at the end of the season.

Sykes still has a year left to run on his contract at the Twickenham Stoop, but could return to Odsal in exchange for a compensation payment.

The GB star has the chance to take his points tally to 100 for the season, as Quins welcome Wigan Warriors to the capital on Saturday.

Bradford take on Huddersfield Giants on Sunday meanwhile, as they hope to close the gap on Leeds Rhinos and St Helens at the top of the table.
