Hull KR have signed second row forward Matt Cook from engage Super League rivals Bradford Bulls for the 2010 season.

Cook has inked a two-year contract with Rovers after falling out of favour at Grattan Odsal in recent times.

The 22-year-old former dual-code schoolboy international has made 62 appearances in the Super League but only four of them have been in the second half of this season - and all of those from the bench.

Cook, who was a member of England's successful Federation Shield squad in 2006, is the first of two expected signings for Rovers and the first to be announced since Super League clubs were officially able to approach out-of-contract players from the start of September.
