Paul Jackson is to leave Huddersfield after signing a two-year deal with the Castleford Tigers.

The forward made 31 appearances for the Tigers from 2003-04 and is now set to make his return for a second spell at The Jungle.

Jackson joined Huddersfield in 2005 and was in the Giants team that were defeated by Warrington in the final of this year's Challenge Cup.

"Paul has had a great season for the Giants," said Castleford coach Terry Matterson.

"He is a real professional and brings us a wealth of experience and I believe that he will be a key asset next season."
