Mossop, who has made 18 appearances for the Super League leaders in 2010, was injured playing for the club's under-20 side against Bradford at the weekend. He is to undergo surgery on Wednesday.

"Lee has been extremely unfortunate," said Warriors coach Michael Maguire.

"We all hoped he would be okay to see the season out but that is not the case. It is so unlucky for him, but he is a strong character and he will be fully fit for the pre-season."
