Catalans Dragons have handed a new two-year contract to French international prop forward Remi Casty.

The 24-year-old has appeared in all but two of the Dragons' 24 Super League matches this season and was in the French team beaten 66-12 by England in Paris in June.

Meanwhile, the French club have signed 22-year-old prop or second row Michael Simon from the club's feeder club UTC on a two-year contract.
