The European Tour returns to Hilversumsche for the first time in five years for this week's KLM Open in the Netherlands.

The tree-lined, parkland course first staged a top-level professional tournament as far back as 1923 and, in the intervening 87 years, has held Tour events on a regular basis.

Since 1994, Hilversumsche has been a Tour venue on 10 occasions, the most recent in 2005 when Spaniard Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano emerged victorious.

A sprinkling of star names have made the trip the trip to Holland this week including the two most recent major champions, Open winner Louis Oosthuizen and USPGA victor Martin Kaymer.

So who's likely to be contending?

Simon Dyson: The defending champion, though not on this course, has been in good form over the past six weeks.

Ross Fisher: With his place in Europe's Ryder Cup team safely tucked away, the 29-year-old four-time Tour winner will be hoping to produce some decent form as the build-up to Celtic Manor continues.

Martin Kaymer: Europe's most recent Major champion contests his first event since winning the PGA Championship in Wisconsin last month.

Brett Rumford: The experienced Aussie is in decent form following his runner-up at Gleneagles and another top-15 finish on Sunday in the Alps.

Anthony Wall: Without a Tour victory for more than 10 years, the consistent Londoner tied-for-fourth in the Czech Republic last month and was 13th in Switzerland on Sunday.

Chris Wood: The up-and-coming 22-year-old from Bristol has posted nine top-25 finishes this season and will be chasing a maiden Tour title this week.
