Delahoussaye: Course record
Brent Delahoussaye moved clear at the top of the Canadian Open leaderboard after breaking the course record at St George's in Toronto.
Delahoussaye finished two shots clear of the chasing pack after carding an eight-under 62 - with his round including an eagle, seven birdies and a bogey.
The 29-year-old broke the St George's Golf & Country Club's previous course record of 64 set by George Knudson 42 years ago, while he became the fifth man to shoot a 62 at the Canadian Open.
Delahoussaye had made a lightning fast start to his challenge as he holed an eagle and then a birdie in his first two holes.
"I am shocked," said Delahoussaye. "I knew I was playing well, and I didn't even really know how many under I was at one point.
"So I just kind of kept going and kept trying to make birdies."
Delahoussaye, the world No.851, leads fellow Americans Vance Veazey and Brock Mackenzie by two shots.
Hunter Mahan, Dean Wilson, Charley Hoffman, Rich Barcelo, Steve Wheatcroft and Spencer Levin are among the nine-strong group a shot further back.
