Eastbourne Eagles have confirmed the final member of their 2008 line-up as James Brundle.
The Eagles have been frantically searching for their last reserve after a move for highly-rated New Zealander Ricky Wells faltered.
That left chief Martin Hagon with few options so in the end he turned to Brundle - who rode in the Premier League with King's Lynn last season.
"James is coming from a big track so we will give him time but it's a great opportunity for him. He has everything to gain," Hagon told The Argus.
Hagon had also looked at taking on Danish starlet Jonas Raun - who failed to earn a spot with Newcastle this term - but that move failed to materialise.
Brundle's arrival means Eastbourne will have five Brits in their line-up which is a rare prospect in the Elite League. Coventry are the only other side with more than two homegrown riders in their septet.
