Pedersen: Revelling in his success
World champion Nicki Pedersen claimed victory in Poole's £60,000 Diamond Jubilee celebration on Sunday.
Pedersen recovered from a nightmare start to get the better of Lakeside's Andreas Jonsson, Eastbourne's Scott Nicholls and Swindon's Leigh Adams in the final and win the event celebrating Poole's 60th anniversary.
The victory sets Pedersen up perfectly for the 2008 season although the four finalists agreed to share the pot equally in the end.
"This has been a great day for me," Pedersen said after his victory. "It was nice for me to show the other guys that I am still the man to beat.
"My pit crew worked hard to get me back in contention."
