Eastbourne manager Trevor Geer expects his side to flex their muscles away from home this season.
The Eagles endured a torrid campaign last year and picked up just one draw on the road from their 19 meetings.
However, with winter signings Scott Nicholls and Lee Richardson in their new septet - Geer is confident they can be a danger away from their Arlington home.
"Scott and Lee can ride big and small tracks, I think Lee especially will come good at the likes of Peterborough and Swindon," Geer told the Speedway Star.
"We know Scott can do it everywhere, Lewis [Bridger] is improving on the bigger tracks and Edward [Kennett] is showing he can ride everything.
"I think we should pick up a few away wins and, with three points on offer, that should benefit us.
"I'd just like to see us in the play-offs and then see what we can do. Hopefully we will have a full team and everyone will be firing.
"When you look at the rest of the teams in the league, I think we are pretty strong.
"If we get a good start and stay injury free, I think we will be there at the end of the year."
