Pedersen: Back in-form for Poole
Poole Pirates are on course to progress to the latter stages of the Craven Shield after defeating Swindon Robins 54-39.
The Pirates finally saw number one Bjarne Pedersen find the right set-up as he top-scored with 12+1.
Swindon were led as ever by Leigh Adams and he gave the home side some worries on his way to 16 points - but he had little support as Poole powered to a 15-point victory.
Poole were solid throughout, if not spectacular, with Davey Watt (10+1) also hitting double figures as he looks to settle into life at Wimborne Road.
Youngsters Chris Holder (7+1) and Karol Zabik (7) both showed their huge potential with good scores, whilst Zibi Suchecki (8+1) also impressed at reserve.
There is just one meeting left in the Southern section with Poole visiting Swindon for the return leg on Thursday.
Eastbourne, who have finished their campaign, will be eagerly awaiting the outcome to see if they progress.
See what has got the Sky Sports experts' tongues wagging over a busy seven days in sport.
