Poole chief Matt Ford has backed Polish star Karol Zabik to come good despite his recent spate of falls.
Zabik is sidelined after damaging his wrist earlier in the week during the win over Lakeisde.
It is the same wrist he hurt on Good Friday when falling against Eastbourne although it does not appear broken - which is a relief to the Poole management.
Ford admits that Zabik's misfortunes are worry, but he is asking fans not to get on his back about it.
"It is a concern that Karol keeps falling off by himself," Ford told The Argus.
"The injuries he has sustained are just lack of concentration, but Karol is a lovely lad who really does feel the pressure.
"So at this time, I don't want anyone putting even more pressure on him because he is already putting too much pressure on himself.
"We need to nurse Karol through this. He is under intense pressure, not from us, but in Poland. We need people's understanding.
"I can't say that more louder or clearer. We need people to be very considerate to him at this time. He needs your support.
"Karol is a guy with immense talent and we have to nurture it properly, not waste it."
With Zabik and Adam Skornicki sidelined, Poole will travel to Lakeside on Friday evening without any of their Polish contingent as Zibi Suchecki is needed by his parent club in Poland.
"We knew before the season started that Zibi would be unavailable for this one meeting," said Ford.
"We are hoping it will be the only one he misses during the course of the season."
Poole will therefore use two guests - Eastbourne's Cameron Woodward and Andrew Bargh of the Isle of Wight, for Skornicki and Suchecki, whilst they will utilise rider-replacement for Zabik.
