Poole Pirates have axed Pole Karol Zabik and brought back fans favourite Magnus Zetterstrom.
Zabik has been struggling for form all season and now Poole have made their change, replacing him and fellow Pole Zibi Suchecki - who is out injured for the rest of the season.
Zetterstrom and fellow club asset Daniel Davidsson both return to Wimborne Road for the remainder of the campaign.
Zetterstrom, known as Zorro, was without a British club after he was left out by Premier League outfit Somerset Rebels.
But the Swede, who last rode for The Pirates in 2004, is now delighted to be back with Poole.
"It feels great because Poole have always been in my heart," he told the Bournemouth Echo.
"It's a bit of a shock at the same time because I'd already made my mind up to miss England this year after Somerset couldn't fit me in.
"I sold all my gear so it's a bit of a rush in two days to get everything sorted for Monday.
"I'll be running around to fix things up and will ride the first two meetings on whatever equipment I can get together with Poole loaning me a bike.
"In fact, I wasn't going to come to England again, but then this came along and I'm happy to do it.
"I've had offers from Premier League clubs Birmingham and Edinburgh, but I turned them down.
"But when Poole came along it felt great and the contract we have done feels right for me.
"I still know I can do a good job for them in the Elite League.
"It will be a bit of a challenge to get everything sorted. It'll take two weeks to get things as professional as I want."
It is the second time in two weeks that Poole have re-declared their starting VII with Krzysztof Kasprzak coming in as a temporary replacement for the injured Bjarne Pedersen.
See what has got the Sky Sports experts' tongues wagging over a busy seven days in sport.
