Richardson has broken wrist
Eastbourne Eagles have been boosted by the news that Lee Richardson has declared himself fit to race.
The former GP star broke his wrist in Poland on Monday, whilst also suffering a dislocated finger and ligament damage.
Eastbourne were worried the injury could sideline Richardson as he was forced to pull out of Wednesday's win at Belle Vue.
However, X-rays showed he only has a slight break and after tests Richardson has confirmed he will be ready to race next week.
The Eagles will be delighted as they face a hectic week with trips to Ipswich and Lakeside, as well as a home meeting against The Witches.
See what has got the Sky Sports experts' tongues wagging over a busy seven days in sport.
