Bjarne Pedersen has declared himself fit to take his place in the Swedish Grand Prix.

Pedersen has been sidelined for two weeks with a broken hand, an injury which forced him out of the European Grand Prix.

But he is now ready to take his place in Gothenburg at the weekend.

"My hand is doing so much better and I really feel the progress," he told his own website.

"In next week I am receiving treatment from Kenneth Birkedal, trained masseur and acupuncturist.

"Further I have a doctor's appointment. I expect to be ready for Sweden, but must await the doctors and Kenneth Birkedal's judgement."

If Pedersen does not make it then Czech Lubos Tomicek will again stand-in.
