British ace Lee Richardson hopes of place back in the Grand Prix remain intact after coming through the latest round of qualifying.

Racing at Czestochowa in Poland, Richardson comfortably made it through by claiming one of the top-seven spots with a 10-point haul.

Fellow Brit Olly Allen bowed out with five points.

The meeting was won by Polish international Greg Walasek on 14, with current GP ace Lukas Dryml just a point behind in second.

Veteran Swede Peter Karlsson showed he is not yet ready to give up on a GP place by claiming 11 points and third place on the rostrum.

Seb Ulamek, Lukas's brother Ales Dryml and Daniel Nermark claimed the other spots.

World Under-21 champion Emil Sajfutdinov will be disappointed to have missed out as he came in eighth and will only be reserve in the next round.

Surprisingly going out at this stage were former GP star Jarek Hampel and Janusz Kolodsziej.
