Poole Pirates confirmed their place in the semi-finals of the Knockout Cup after holding Swindon to just a 50-40 win at The Abbey Stadium.
Poole had won by 13 points at Wimborne Road just 24 hours earlier and that proved enough for The Pirates.
Poole were never in real trouble of surrending their lead although going into Heat 15 a 5-1 for Swindon would have taken them through after a late surge.
However, Bjarne Pedersen and Chris Holder held off Mads Korneliussen with Leigh Adams clear in front.
Adams was his usual impeccable self as he claimed a paid maximum whilst Korneliussen's good form continued with 10+3.
Travis McGowan scored well with eight points but there was a real star turn from reserve James Wright who weighed in with 14 from seven rides.
Poole's scoring was solid thoughout but none managed double figures. Pedersen and Holder both claimed 9+1 with Davey Watt coming in with 7.
Lakeside Hammers are firmly on course to make the last four after a resounding 51-39 win at Peterborough.
The Panthers battled well, with number one Hans Andersen claiming 12 and reserve Morten Risager doing well with 10+3, but there was little else to show.
The Hammers in stark contrast had points throughout their side with Andreas Jonsson leading them home with 13+1, with Adam Shields (9+1) and Jonas Davidsson (9) providing excellent back-up.
Swedish reserve Ricky Kling had a brilliant evening as he grabbed a paid maximum.
See what has got the Sky Sports experts' tongues wagging over a busy seven days in sport.
