Sullivan: Winner in Lonigo
British stars Danny King and Simon Stead maintained their Grand Prix hopes following the latest GP qualifier in Italy.
King and Stead both booked their places in the semi-finals after coming through a run-off at Lonigo - indeed run-offs were needed to decide all the final positions.
Australian Ryan Sullivan took victory as he defeated Slovenian Matej Ferjan off after they both finished the meeting on 14 points.
There was a run-off for the final place on the podium as Peter Ljung beat Mads Korneliussen.
But the most crucial race-off was the final three qualifying places and King, Stead and Jesper B Monberg progressed with Italian Mattia Carpanese missing out.
There was a major shock as Aussie starlet Chris Holder missed out, mainly due to engine problems.
Stead and King join fellow Brits Lee Richardson, David Howe and Ed Kennett in the semis.
See what has got the Sky Sports experts' tongues wagging over a busy seven days in sport.
