Swindon Robins grabbed a thrilling 45-45 draw with Belle Vue Aces in the Sky Sports Elite League on Thursday evening.
The Robins were reduceded to just four riders for the second half of the fixture after separate crashes in heat seven ended the participation of reserve duo Manuel Hauzinger and Seb Alden in the meeting.
The Aces had to contend with injury problems of their own, losing Billy Fosberg to a hand injury sustained in a crash at the first corner of heat three.
The momentum at Blunsdon swayed to-and-fro to leave the scores locked at 42-42 entering the final heat.
Jason Crump (12+1) and Kevin Doolan (9+1) looked to be heading for a 4-2 heat victory until Doolan sufferd mechanical failure on the final bend of lap four to allow Mads Korneliussen to surge past to take third place and ensure the scores finished level.
Meanwhile, Ipswich Witches claimed a 50-43 win over the struggling Coventry Bees.
Piotr Swiderski led the way with 14 points for the Witches, while the Bees' Chris Harris pulled in a 14+1 haul in defeat.
