Woffinden: Set for GB debut
Great Britain boss Jim Lynch will ring the changes ahead of their World Cup race-off on Thursday.
Britain go to Vojens, Denmark, to try and qualify for the final after they failed to make it through the semi-final at Coventry on Monday.
Denmark won the meeting at Brandon and they joined Australia in the final, but Britain produced a dismal display as they were well behind second placed Sweden - who will also be at Vojens for the race-off.
Russia and Poland make up the four-team field - with the top two progressing to the final.
Britain had loaded their side with riders with local knowledge of the Brandon circuit, but that did not work and as a result Simon Stead and Olly Allen have now been dropped with Ed Kennett and 17-year-old sensation Tai Woffinden coming in.
Kennett and Woffinden join Chris Harris, Lee Richardson and captain Scott Nicholls and Lynch is looking for a big improvement from the quintet.
"It was a dreadful performance to be honest, and we had to recover in the races after Heat 15 just to see off the Czech Republic - and we should never have been in that position," said Lynch.
"I don't really think that anybody rode particularly well, so we have to get our heads together over the next couple of days.
"We've got a couple of new riders coming in on Thursday night, and we've got to be positive and go to Denmark and try our hardest - but it's very difficult to get up and enthusiastic when we've performed like that on a track which belongs to us.
"The lads know how to ride it but it's one of those nights and we've got to put it behind us."
