Crump: A few days off
Belle Vue Aces have confirmed that Jason Crump has suffered a broken finger.
The Australian ace crashed heavily during the World Cup final at the weekend which ruled him out of Belle Vue's clash with Peterborough on Monday.
Now he will also miss the midweek clash with Poole but the injury will only rule him out for days rather than weeks.
"It could have been worse than a broken finger so I feel okay that the damage is not much worse than that," he said.
"Everything else is fine so I'll rest it for a day or two. I've been told to strap my fingers together and ride again when I think I can and that won't be very long."
