Alden: Back with Swindon (Pic Credit Les Aubrey)
Swindon Robins have brought Seb Alden back into their line-up to replace Australian Travis McGowan.
Alden started the season with The Robins before breaking his foot in July.
He is now full recovered and has been brought back in at the expense of McGowan - who has been out-of-form in recent weeks.
"It was clear for everyone to see that Travis has been struggling for form lately and as a club we felt this could no longer continue," said manager Alun Rossiter.
"It was extremely hard informing Travis of our decision, but he understood that a change had to be made immediately.
"Travis still remains part of our plans for the future and he will spend the Winter in Australia re-discovering his form and confidence.
"He wants to come back next year and prove to everyone that he's up to the task of being an Elite League rider.
"Travis still has time on his side and I'm sure he will re-capture his touch in the coming months.
"His recent scores weren't doing himself or the club any good and he appreciates we had to take action.
"Seb Alden has been riding well in Sweden after recovering from his heel injury.
"We are hoping he can do a solid job for us as we turn our attentions towards the play offs. Obviously Seb is familiar with the set up at Swindon should feel comfortable slotting into the number four berth."
