Crump: Maximum for Belle Vue (Pic credit fotospeedway.pl)
Poole Pirates maintained a seven-point lead at the top of the Sky Sports Elite League with a comfortable 59-34 win over Ipswich.
The Pirates are clear of Lakeside, who themselves also claimed a 59-34 win over Belle Vue Aces.
Poole were again led brilliantly by number one Chris Holder with 17 points, whilst captain Bjarne Pedersen added 13.
Ipswich were near enough a two-man team with only Piotr Swiderski (12+1) and Rory Schlein (11) putting up any sort of resistance.
Lakeside are now four points clear of third placed Swindon after their straightforward win over Belle Vue at Purfleet.
The injury ravaged Hammers had guests Lewis Bridger (8+3) and Ed Kennett (12) in good form whilst home favourites Andreas Jonsson (16) and Leigh Lanham (10+4) scored heavily.
Aces number one Jason Crump was the star of the meeting with an undefeated 18 points, including a tactical win - but there was far too little support for the Aussie with Charlie Gjedde next best with just seven.
See what has got the Sky Sports experts' tongues wagging over a busy seven days in sport.
