Australia Under-23s levelled their three-match test series with England after claiming a narrow victory at Swindon.

The Aussies lost the opening test at Wolverhampton on Monday - but they gained revenge with the last heat decider at Blunsdon.

England were eight points up with just five heats remaining - but Australia were led home brilliantly by Poole's Chris Holder, who dropped just one point all night as he claimed 17 overall.

It was Holder who won the final heat to guarantee victory for Craig Boyce's men.

England were led well by skipper Tai Woffinden with 11, whilst the likes of Lewis Bridger (8+1) and James Wright (8+1) provided good back-up.

But Australia just managed to clinch the win. Apart from Holder, Troy Batchelor was in great form with 13 whilst Swindon youngster Richard Sweetman also impressed in-front of his own fans with seven points.

The final and deciding test takes place at Somerset on Friday.
