Hancock: Wants changes in UK
American star Greg Hancock says he would be willing to race again in England, but admits changes need to be made before he would contemplate a return.
The 38-year-old has spent a huge chunk of his career in England racing with Cradley Heath, Coventry, Reading and Oxford.
But he sat out this year's campaign and admits he is in no rush to return.
"I haven't missed it that much [racing in England], as it has freed up my schedule and given me time to rest, train and focus on my racing better," he told the Speedway Star.
"It is also nice to sleep in my own bed more often rather than in different hotel beds.
"But I would consider riding in the UK again if the league was cut in half, I feel racing 35 to 40 matches in Britain is too much these days alongside other foreign leagues and the Grand Prix series.
"I also don't like meeting the same teams so many times throughout the season."
The former world champion is now the oldest rider in the Grand Prix series and he admits he has no plans to give up just yet.
"As I have always said, the day when I wake up and feel I can't be world champion again is the day when I will retire," he added.
