Pedersen speaks to Sara on Sky Sports
Poole captain Bjarne Pedersen cut a delighted figure after lifting the Sky Sports Elite League title.
Pedersen led his side to glory with a convincing victory over Lakeside Hammers in the second leg of the Elite League Grand Final.
Pedersen was the star of the evening for The Pirates with a paid maximum, but he was quick to hail the effort from the whole team.
"It is amazing, a dream come true - we have been strong all season but it all comes down to this final," he told Sky Sports. "It is great to do it.
"The atmosphere this season has been here all the time, everyone has done so well all season."
Pirates boss Matt Ford also heaped praise on his team's efforts after they roared to success over Lakeside.
As a packed Wimborne Road crowd cheered their side to a comfortable success over their Essex opponents, Ford reserved special praise for new signing Chris Holder who enjoyed an outstanding debut campaign.
"It is a wonderful, wonderful atmosphere - a real party atmosphere and great news for the club," Ford told Sky Sports.
"I think Chris Holder, he is just unbelievable and has set the club alight - but they all have done it and Bjarne Pedersen, the captain has been fantastic."
Veteran Magnus Zetterstrom beamed at the title as he was present for Poole's last success in 2004.
"It is a great feeling to win it again, the taste of winning - I wish everyone had this chance - it is just great to be a part of it.
"It has been a great team effort, a great team to work with - everyone, it is just great to be part of Poole."
Australian duo Holder and Davey Watt were equally pleased to clinch the title. "It has been a long season," said Watt.
"It has taken its toll and we have had our ups and downs and lost a few at home, but it is just fantastic and shows real team spirit.
Holder added: "We are so happy to win tonight, we had pressure not to win tonight - they didn't have the strongest team they should, but you have to beat the VII in front of you."
See what has got the Sky Sports experts' tongues wagging over a busy seven days in sport.

Congratulations to the top Speedway team in Britain namely Poole Pirates. This year has seen some exceptional performances but the accolade of top rider for Poole must go to Bjarne Pederson for his inspired captaincy and personal scoring record. He has led a talented team of riders to glory this year ably assisted by Manager Neil Middleditch.
