Sajfutdinov: Busy calendar <a href='http://Fotospeedway.pl'>Fotospeedway.pl</a>
Poole chief Matt Ford has claimed that Russian star Emil Sajfutdinov will only be riding for The Pirates, if he comes to England.
The two-time World Under-21 champion is the most sought-after rider in world speedway, but has riding commitments in Poland, Sweden and Russia.
Ford would love to bring Sajfutdinov to England, but he admits there are huge problems fitting it into his busy calendar as the 18-year-old also looks odds-on to be named as one of the wild cards in next season's Grand Prix series.
"I think it's unlikely he would want to race in this country for a full season," Ford told the Bournemouth Echo.
"Of course [we would love to sign him], because he's a fantastic rider.
"I can tell you that part of the problem getting him here is he rides in Russia on a Thursday.
"That's a big day for British speedway, as is Wednesday.
"So the chances of Emil doing a full season in Britain are really slim," said Ford.
"But if he does start a season in England, he will do it at Poole."
Meanwhile, the Pirates have also confirmed they have taken on James Holder - brother of Chris, as a full time asset.
He currently rides in the Premier Legaue for Isle of Wight.
