Dryml: Eagles new boy (Fotospeedway.pl)
Eastbourne Eagles have announced the shock signing of Czech ace Lukas Dryml.
The 27-year-old has arrived on loan from Peterborough Panthers - despite the fact Eastbourne had already agreed there line-up for 2009.
Dryml has been snapped up after it emerged that Russian Denis Gizatullin was finding it hard to get the paperwork to enter the country,
Now with three weeks to go before tapes are up, The Eagles have swooped to bring in Dryml - although the club insist they are still trying to bring in Gizatullin.
Meanwhile, The Eagles have also named their new number eight for the season in the shape of Newport's James Holder - brother of Poole star Chris.
"I hope to get a chance and have a go at the Elite League," Holder told the Speedway Star.
