Bridger: In line for debut (PIC CREDIT LES AUBREY)
Scott Nicholls has been dropped for Great Britain's forthcoming World Cup event at Peterborough.
Australia and Poland are expected to provide stiff competition for Team GB with underdogs Slovenia completing the line-up at the East England Showground on July 13.
But British boss Rob Lyon has sprung a surprise by omitting the experienced duo of Nicholls and Lee Richardson in favour of a youthful team.
Coventry's Chris Harris and Edward Kennett have been included alongside Wolverhampton's teenage ace Tai Woffinden.
Eastbourne's Lewis Bridger and Ipswich star Daniel King are set to make their World Cup debuts, meanwhile, and Lyon hopes the experimentation will reap dividends.
"I've gone with the youngsters because they deserve the opportunity," said Lyon. "I've been talking about the younger generation since I took the job and this is their chance to shine.
"Lee and Scott have been very professional and understanding about the situation and they are still very much in my thoughts."
