Pedersen: Leading scorer
Poole Pirates climbed off the bottom Sky Sports Elite League table after recording a comprehensive 59-33 victory over Ipswich.
Ipswich were left to rue the absence of No.1 rider Scott Nicholls, who was riding in a re-arranged Swedish fixture, as they were unable to use the replacement facility.
And while the Witches had to use their No.8 rider Jerran Hart, Poole were able to use the replacement facility for the injured Hans Andersen.
Bjarne Pedersen got the Pirates off to a flying start with victory in the opening heat - and the Dane went on to lead the scoring with 16+2 points.
Chris Holder also won four races for a 16+1-point haul, while Daniel Davidsson weighed in with 11+1 points.
For Ipswich, who drop to the bottom as the standings after the defeat, Robert Miskowiak and Dawid Stachyra collected 10+1 points each but Hart and Carl Wilkinson both failed to score.
See what has got the Sky Sports experts' tongues wagging over a busy seven days in sport.
