Promoter Chris Van Straaten said: "That injury normally means around eight weeks out, so realistically that looks like being the end of his season, which is a shame for the lad because despite his struggles the crowd had taken to him and he was making progress.
"Our options are limited as far as a replacement goes, but we'll be keeping our eyes and ears open to see if anyone becomes available, and we have cover with our No.8 Chris Kerr who rode very well on Monday."
