British Under-21 champion Lewis Bridger has confirmed that he wants to quit his hometown club Eastbourne this winter.

Bridger wanted to leave last year, but he was persuaded to stay.

But now the youngster is insistent that he will be leaving Arlington - with Peterborough, Swindon or Poole his preferred destinations as he wants to join a big-track club.

"Obviously, Eastbourne have treated me brilliantly there this season. Bob Dugard has been absolutely brilliant helping me with everything," said Bridger.

"I don't think I could have done what I have done this season without his help. But I 100 per cent need a change for next season.

"I need to be somewhere different - a bigger track. I think the change would do me good. I would like to be at one of three - Peterborough, Swindon or Poole."
