Peterborough Panthers have confirmed the signing of Lewis Bridger.
Eastbourne Eagles will loan Bridger to the Panthers, for the 2010 season - whilst in return Peterborough have allowed them to talk to two of their assets.
Lukas Dryml - who enjoyed a season on loan at the South Coast club last season, will return to the club.
Whilst Eastbourne have also expressed an interest in Hans Andersen, and are now in talks with the Grand Prix star.
Indeed, reports claim that Andersen and Dryml could become Eastbourne assets in exchange for Bridger.
"It was something I was intending to keep under wraps until I had agreed terms with the Eastbourne management but unfortunately that wasn't to be," said Panthers owner Rick Frost.
"In a reciprocal deal with Eastbourne we have given them permission to speak to some of our retained riders, including Hans Anderson and Lukas Dryml.
"I am pleased Lewis will be joining us in 2010. He is an exciting and talented rider who I have no doubt has a big future in the sport, and of course he is a British rider which is something we have been sadly lacking in the past."
Eagles chief Trevor Geer confirmed: "Hans seems quite keen.
"We are hoping to do some sort of deal with Hans and Lukas, who has agreed to ride for us next season, with Lewis going in the other direction.
"Once Lewis made it clear he wanted to leave. We did not want to stand in his way. At the same time, he is a quality young British rider and we are not going to let him go for nothing and our priority was always a good number one."
Eastbourne have also confirmed that they will be changing their racing nights, from the usual Saturdays to Thursdays.
