Kylmakorpi: No Hammers deal
Lakeside Hammers have told Joonas Kylmakorpi that he is not in their plans for 2010.
The Hammers, who last week opted against moving for Lee Richardson, have now also decided against using Finnish star Kylmakorpi.
The 'Flyin Finn' has been with the Essex side since 2006, but he has now been offered to other Elite League clubs.
"Joonas has been a big part of this club but he has had a terrible run of injuries during the three years of our promotion and also the year before we took over," said team boss Jon Cook.
"Each previous winter Stuart (Douglas) and I took another gamble on his average and his fitness for the forthcoming year but this winter we feel that a change of club is the most likely way we can help Joonas change his luck.
"On his day he is amongst the most exciting riders around our raceway and we are sure Hammers fans will give him a welcome reception on his return in another team's colours next season."
