World champion Jason Crump admits he faces a battle to be fit for the new season.
The Australian star secured his third world title last year, but he had to ride through injury to secure his title after a badly burnt arm.
The 34-year-old admits he is behind where he would like to be in terms of his fitness, ahead of the new Grand Prix season which starts on April 24 in Leszno.
"I thought I'd be riding again by now but my arm still isn't strong enough," he told the Daily Star.
"I lost half of my bicep muscles, but they are slowly coming back."
