Quotes of the week
British ace Tai Woffinden insists he is ready to prove the bookmakers and his critics wrong as he prepares for his maiden Grand Prix season.
Woffinden has been handed a GP wild-card, but he is not considered to be contention with most bookmarkers quoting a price over 100/1.
But the 19-year-old is determined to show his worth at the highest level.
"I'll just have to prove some more people wrong," said the Wolverhampton Wolves skipper.
"I felt really good in pre-season - the strongest I've ever felt.
"I'm just looking forward to it and we'll see what happens. Everyone in my team is keen and we're going for bigger and better things in 2010."
Woffinden helped Wolves to league title success last term and he has now been handed the arm-band, despite his tender years, following Peter Karlsson's depature.
And he is looking to continue his domestic success too.
"I'll do my best to make sure Wolverhampton get to the play-offs and win another gold medal.
"We've got a great combination of old and young. We've lost PK this year and it was a big average to lose, but if everyone does their bit for the team, we'll be just as strong as we were last year.
"Everyone has potential and can build on it. If we all put in 110 percent, it will be a good year for Wolverhampton."
See what has got the Sky Sports experts' tongues wagging over a busy seven days in sport.
