Sayfutdinov: Ready (Pic credit Fotospeedway.pl)
Russian star Emil Sayfutdinov admits his preparations for the 2010 season have gone very well.
The 20-year-old made a huge impact during his debut campaign last season, finishing third overall.
He also became the youngest ever winner of a GP when he won the opening round in Prague.
Now many are expecting bigger and better things from Sayfutdinov.
But he is calm about making any major predictions on his chances.
"I'm ready for the Grand Prix. I have worked very hard over the winter and we'll see how it goes," he said.
"I haven't had as much stress as I had last season and I think things have gone much better. That last season was very hard because it was my first season in the Grand Prix."
Sayfutdinov was speaking after a rare appearance on Britain as he rode at Swindon in the Bob Kilby Memoril meeting.
But the Russian - who rarely visits these shores - struggles at the Abbey Stadium.
"I am not satisfied with my performance," he said.
"I think that my engines just were not suitable for British tracks and what is more the fact I do not know British tracks at all was also the reason of my bad result.
"Although I would like to thank very much Swindon club for inviting me to this tournament and British fans for very warm welcome. See you in Cardiff."
