Jonsson: Back for Swedes
Sweden have received a major boost after Andreas Jonsson declared himself fit for the Speedway World Cup race-off.
The World Cup final takes places this Saturday in Vojens, with Great Britain and Poland already through.
The race-off sees hosts Denmark, Australia, Russia and Sweden racing for the final two spots.
And Sweden's hopes of progressing are hugely boosted by GP star Jonsson's decision to race.
Swedish champion Jonsson was expected to miss the whole World Cup with an arm injury, but he will now take his place in the side, replacing Daniel Nermark.
Sweden boss Peter Jansson has opted to drop Nermark instead of Jonas Davidsson, who was called up to replace Jonsson, as he performed admirably at King's Lynn in the qualifier.
Other than Jonsson's inclusion, the other three sides are unchanged.
