James Wade got back to winning ways with a confidence-boosting victory at the Scottish Players Championship on Sunday, while Alex Roy ended an even longer drought by winning Saturday's event.
World number three Wade has not tasted success since winning the UK Open back in June, and a difficult spell included a shock first-round exit at the World Grand Prix in Dublin recently.
The left-hander hit top form in Irvine though, as he raced through the field en route to a final showdown with Mark Walsh - which he duly won 3-1.
Vincent van der Voort, Carlos Rodriguez and Andy Hamilton won just a set as they fell victim to a resurgent Wade, before he went on to take the title and £5,000 first prize.
Walsh took the opening set against Wade in the final, but then could only get one more leg on the board as Wade took the title with ease.
The win will be a big boost for Wade for the upcoming Grand Slam of Darts and looking further ahead to the World Championship in December.
Saturday's event saw Alex Roy win his first title for over three-and-a-half years as he pocketed a Players Championship crown.
The 'Ace of Herts' came out on top after a thrilling final leg victory over Denis Ovens to claim his first tournament since March 2005.
Roy won the first set before Ovens turned up the heat to win four of the next five legs and go 2-1 in front, and at 1-1 in the final set it went down to just one leg of darts.
The match ended in some style as Watford thrower Roy took out a superb 161 finish to win the trophy.
Roy had early claimed the big scalps of Terry Jenkins and Adrian Lewis, while Van der Voort Spain's Rodriguez also found Roy in sparkling form.
