Phil Taylor is desperate for another World Championship crown to cap off a remarkable year - saying he would trade-in every other title he owns to succeed at Alexandra Palace.
Since losing out to Wayne Mardle at the last World Championship, 'The Power' has been in imperious form, taking all but one of the following major televised tournaments.
Only James Wade's success at the UK Open prevented a sweep for Taylor, while the man from Stoke also defended his Grand Slam of Darts title in Wolverhampton last week.
The 13-time world champion was finished in many people's eyes after changing his darts, but after a big wobble he is back and looking as good as ever.
After winning in Wolverhampton, Taylor is now back in his training zone and practising harder than ever for his latest World Championship bid.
Still feeling he has something to prove, Taylor would dearly love a 14th world title - and in fact he would swap all of his other victories to end up with the trophy at Ally Pally come January 4.
"The win (Grand Slam) put me in good stead for the World Championship and I'm really up for it," said Taylor.
"For the next month I'll be practising so hard and I've turned down a few things so I can concentrate solely on the World Championship.
"The World Championship is more important than anything and I'd give every title I have right now to win this again.
"It's not about the money, but the trophy and being world champion once again."
