Peel: Sale switch
Sale Sharks have confirmed the signing of Wales scrum-half Dwayne Peel, who has signed on a three-year deal starting at the end of the season.
The Guinness Premiership side have confirmed the deal with Peel set to battle it out with England international Richard Wigglesworth for the number nine jersey.
The 26-year-old is Wales' most capped scrum-half, and after coming through the ranks at Llanelli he has become a prominent member in both the Scartlet's and Wales starting XV's.
"There is a chance to sample a new experience and a chance for me to play against different players," said Peel.
"I know four of the Sale Sharks players from the Lions tour of 2005.
"Sharks have some great players and I am looking forward to playing with them."
Sharks director Philippe Saint Andre also expressed his delight at finally securing the deal.
"This is excellent news for the club and the supporters," he said.
"Together with Richard Wigglesworth we will have two young, international players covering the number nine position."
