Quotes of the week
Following their 21-13 win against Worcester at Frankiln Gardens, Saints director of rugby Jim Mallinder has called on supporters to be patient.
Mallinder believes the fans contributed to the win by creating an exciting atmosphere in the Saint's return to the Guiness Premiership on Saturday.
But despite the surprise victory over the Warriors, Mallinder has asked fans not to get too carried away with the win.
He said: "Our supporters were tremendous yesterday.
"The squad feels the same and the new players were commenting after the match that they had rarely experience an atmosphere like that.
"But the hard work continues. The Guinness Premiership is a long competition and we cannot afford to sit back and think that the job is done because we won out first game."
